The Taiwan Excellence Awards committee appraises and elects winning products based on four major categories of “R&D”, “Design”, “Quality” and “Marketing”. Both of the MDT’s winning products are recognized as innovative products that lead a trend to a better and more convenient lifestyle by providing a combination of hardware and software solutions for the user.
The Cyclo Discover product line is oriented towards "leisure travel" and considers the needs of middle-aged and senior cyclists. Recognizing potential physiological and psychological demands, the Cyclo Discover Pal has an intuitive graphical user interface design, large font and button size, and high color contrast.
The device is waterproof and resistant to sweat, mud, and rain. In addition, some countries, such as the Netherlands and Spain, prohibit cyclists from using mobile phones while riding; this product provides call and message notifications for added convenience and safety.
With the newly developed MioShare app, together with cloud OTA updates, users can search for nearby routes by region, month, distance, and time of ride, and download them to Cyclo devices. The WeJoin group ride feature allows Cyclo Discover Pal users to easily invite friends and family to ride the same route through the app, regardless of whether they own a Cyclo device or not.
The MioEYE™ K Series is an innovative smart fleet camera with up to 3-channel full HD 1080p resolution to provide comprehensive views inside and outside of the vehicle. Powered by the Qualcomm® SoC for on-device edge AI capabilities, the smart camera is capable of supporting Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and Driver Monitoring System (DMS). It also features a high-resolution CMOS sensor for producing crystal clear images both night and day, advanced Automotive Dead Reckoning (ADR) technology for location tracking in obstructed areas, and a tamper-proof design to protect sensitive data.
